Today we've got a guest blog from a friend of mine over the pond.

His name is Brad Taliancich, he owns Team Xcelerate and has been running boot camps for several years now.

Here's somebody else's view about boot camps and how Boro Boot Camp can help you.

1.) What makes a boot camp program better than gym workouts or gym programs?
"You get to enjoy being outdoors, fresh air and a change of surroundings. You also get to focus on your routine and not a TV (mind-body experience)."

2.) What are the benefits your clients have received from participating in your boot camps?

"We've just recently started adult programs (November) as we have been doing youth programs for several years. The participants are seeing results, talking about the workouts giving them the needed boost of energy to survive the last half of the day and the fact that they are in a group of people that support each other."

3.) Did you find that their fitness results were better from your boot camp than at any point they had experienced on their own in a gym environment?

"Many of them have been in a gym or even currently in a gym. They all like the fact that the workouts are varied every time they come and they understand the functionality of the program. Not being stuck on a machine and working up a better sweat than staying on a treadmill or bike has made a big difference to them."

4.) What difference do you think training with like minded people who have similar goals to each other has on your participants Brad?

"It really helps their confidence and as the workouts progress they really help each other get through the routines. I have some who are class clowns and some who spout out encouragement but they completely help each other get through in a fun, positive way."

5.) What kind of training do your clients do?

"FitFunCamp emphasizes Tabatas and we mix up the intervals from time to time. Our group can be doing squats, push-ups, jumping jacks and pillar holds one day and then running through ladders, jumping over hurdles and crawling on the ground on another day. Our goal is to not have a "typical" day."

Great information Brad. Have you anything else you'd like to add?

"You do not always realize you are in a rut when training in a gym. Boot camps and fitness camps can really provide a way to have a completely different workout every time they come to class. There is no monotony."
